Can we get any info on Russ's health? It was printed in the Internet version of Pipes Inc. that Russ had a serious operation and anyone wanting to call him or mail him a card at the hospital could do so and was given an address and room phone #. Neither was accurate! A call to the store got a response of "send the card here- we'll get it to him"-nothing on how he was doing. The Pipe Club members would like to communicate with him if we could get basic info. Are we to assume Pipe Club is cancelled till further notice? It might be a good idea to post some info here for those of us that check this site ....still!

Alcalde:  Have you been able to get any further info as to Russ's health.  I would really like to know how he is doing.  El maestro.

Nobody is coming forth with any info. I hope he is going to be OK. As far as Pipe Club is concerned-I will not plan on anything until I hear it is back on the agenda.

I talked to his daughter in the shop today.  Pipe club is not canceled but Russ won't be there.  I didn't know about his health issues at the time or I would have inquired more.
