The Mayor left for over a week on a Caribbean cruise and I check the Forum once I got back and see nothing happened. What's with that? I must report that I spent a goodly amount of time in the Corona Lounge on the NCL PEARL- I was the only pipe smoker- all others were cigs and cigars and all the guys said they wanted to try a pipe-I tried  to convert them but I'm afraid they'll never try it. I was double outsmarted in Samana (Dominican Republic) The natives were hawking COHIBA'S man-straight from Cuba-I was given a free "local cigar" to try and it was not bad- knowing the COHIBA was conterfeit-I figured it probably was a local with a Cohiba Ring in a cedar box of 10 WITH a Cuban Tax Seal and branded HECO en Cuba on the box. The price started at $80-then $65 then for me $40 today only- I started to walk away(should have kept going) and was asked how much I would pay- I brought out $15 and said it was all I had-he took it. I opened the box and smoked one that night as we left the harbor- it is the worst cigar I've ever smoked-the Americano got screwed again-a $1.50 bargain worth 20 cents. Just one more reason to smoke a pipe.
