We have our own chat room now!

I'm so excited!  *teef* I've installed a chat room for us to use right here in the forum. All you have to do is click that lil "CHAT" link in the top menu bar... see it? It's right between "CALENDAR" and "MEMBERS".  *nss*

If your computer has functioning, updated *Flash* (get it here), you should be whisked away into our chat room. You do have to be logged in for it to work, so keep that in mind. You'll automatically enter the main chat, called "Pipe Lounge"... but you'll see on the right hand side that there are other chat rooms available too. The dropdown menu at the top of the chat will allow you to move from room to room.

Why have different rooms? Well, some people find it difficult to follow a very busy conversation in chats, so if there are different topics being discussed, and you need the conversation to slow down a bit, you have other rooms to use for that purpose.

(If you need help navigating the site, or the forum, you can meet me in the "Tech Talk" room so I can more easily walk you through things.  *wink*)

I hope you find this a useful part of the forum... I'd be thrilled to see it being used to discuss meeting plans, events, evening smokes, you name it! :) Feel free to reply here if you experience any troubles using the chat room.

Want to schedule a chat? I've started this thread (click here) for you to post scheduled chats, invites, and online "get together plans" in... have at it! :)
