[ February 20, 2010; ] February 20th, 2010 is International Pipe Smoking Day, and we’re going to celebrate the event with a custom tobacco, and multi-media event at the Colonie Habana Premium Shoppe. The exclusive Habana Premium International Pipe Smoking Day 2010 blend is a mixture of Virginias, 5 different Orientals, Latakia and Perique for a complex and sophisticated medium [...] [ January 23, 2010; ] The Capital District Pipe Club is going on another road trip, this time to Peekskill NY to visit S.M. Frank & Co. the manufacturers of the Kaywoodie, Yello-Bole and Medico brand lines of smoking pipes and accessories. On Saturday January 23rd, we’re meeting at the old Colonie store parking lot at 9:45am. We will carpool from [...] On December 2nd, the Capital District Pipe Club gathered at the old location in Colonie for the last time. The store had already moved to the new location (1645 Central Ave), so we had the entire place to ourselves, which was a nice way to end the year. A couple of new members joined us [...] Our Holiday Dinner will be held at the old store location on Central Avenue, giving our members more parking, and the upstairs lounge & kitchen. Greenbush Habana Premium Cigar Shoppe. There were over 100 Estate Pipes on display for sale, and attendees enjoyed complimentary snacks and pizza.
